We’ve got ways to mount solar panels, zip ties, suction cups and with handlebar mounts and now we’re exploring magnets. We see this as being useful for attaching panels to a tin-corrugated roof or on top of something like a railroad car if you’re trying to solar power a GPS monitor. Can you think of other applications for a magnet-mounted solar charger?

Did the magnets interered with power outcome of the solar panel?
They do not interfere with the power output of the solar panels.
Yes, I think it would be useful. I would attach it to roof of a car. It would have to be strong enough to stay attached at say 75 mi/h. The cable extension should be long enough for the battery that is recharging to be inside the car.
I think if the threads on the post nuts were secure (maybe loc-tite), it would stay attached at 75mph. I have to pull pretty darn hard to get the panel off a metal surface.
