					<description><![CDATA[It is actually possible to rip apart a magsafe-to-magsafe2 converter using a vise to hold the magsafe side and pliers to grasp and remove the magsafe2 side.  Once you desolder the pins you have a pair of usable connectors.  Be sure to use a towel or something else to protect the connectors from scratches.]]></description>
