Hi Budd,

Sorry your puppy is attracted to expensive and hard to repair cables. We typically don’t work with them when the failure is at that point – there are a couple articles on iFixit address this topic for older MacBooks.

I have taken it apart but need to know how to solder the wires back to the magnetic head.
